Waughop Lake

Waughop Lake is located in Fort Steilacoom in Lakewood, WA, just south of Tacoma. The site has been a NAMBA District 8 mainstay for several decades now, and features a sizable lake in a park setting, with a footpath all the way around.

The pit area was recently redone with improved footpaths, a gravel hot pit area/launching site, and grass around the cold pit. The lake does not recommend swimming, so the water is always free and ready for racing.
