Looking back over last season, I see a result I am very proud of but that I only played a part in making happen. I’ve been doing this for close to 30 years and never dreamed of a season like this. You all have been nice enough and patient enough to help me, encourage me teach me and caution me. I also ask for and get a lot of good advice and use it as best I can to get better. I have also found that when all else fails, a cold brew, some duct tape and balsa wood can lead to great advances and major setbacks.
Many years ago. I went to hear Chip Hanauer speak at the Hydro Museum. The subject was his philosophy on how to race boats successfully. His main point was that you need to be smart enough to learn your boats limits and patient enough to drive within those limits. Do this and you will get finishes, points and wins and in the process, you will get better results
Can’t wait for the 2024 season and especially…..”30 seconds to the start”
