District 8 Fall Poker Rally hosted by Puget Sound Model Boat Club.

What’s a Poker Rally?

The rally will start with a LeMans start.  Boats will run 3 laps, come to the beach and stopped.  The drivers will be given a poker card at the finish of 3 laps, the rally continues until the driver completes 5 sets of 3 laps.  There is a 10 minute time limit to complete the 5 sets, but most will be completed in less than 10 minutes.  The best poker hand after completing the 5 sets wins a $10 Safeway gift card.  A $5 donation to defray the  site rental is requested.   Entering a rally is $5.  Boat size, power, speed will determine which boats will run together.   It is not a race to see who finishes first.  You are only running laps to accumulate cards.   There isn’t a limit on how many rallies might be run or how many you can enter with different boats.  Electric, gas, nitro, deep vees. hydros, tunnels, 1/10 Scale Hydroplanes we’ll find a rally for it.

There will also be time for open water before the rallies begin and afterwards.  All clubs are invited.
