2025 Champions

Darren entered 41 classes and ran 130 heats, completely dominating the high points chase in 2025 and averaging 285 points per heat while doing it! 

“As a young child, my father built the boats, and I raced them. When I think back to that time in my life, I remember how happy I was. However, life happened, and interests changed. About 40 years later, I decided I wanted to build another boat and get back into racing. I soon learned that I knew nothing and my father knew everything. 2024 was my first year back, and going into 2025, I had a completely new fleet of boats to race. The year offered its challenges, but with the help and support of many mentors from my district, 2025 turned out to be a very successful season. My knowledge and love for boats continues to grow. I’m excited to see what 2026 has to offer.”
